A message from outgoing President Vanita Hullander

The past year has went by so fast I can't believe my term as President has came and gone.
I want everyone to know how much I enjoyed the privilege of serving and appreciate those
who helped me so much during the year. There has been a lot of leadership examples that
came before me and there will be many more after. I can only hope
Honorable Jake Futch, President, has as good of a year as I had.

Our Association has grown by leaps and bounds showing a lot of fellowship with
willingness to work hard at propelling us into the future and taking our place
where some never knew we existed. There will always be goals to meet and I feel
assured we will get there with the dedication this Association has shown.
Please welcome the new Executive Board, I know they will do a good job.

The Fall Meeting went very well. There were a lot of attendee's and an abundance of
vendors thanks to Honorable Ralph Wilson. I wish everyone could have seen the new
trailer for the store. Honorable Gary McElhenney did good with specking the trailer
and lettering. Honorable Jake Futch arranged excellent speakers for our program.
Honorable Danny Galpin kept me in line with meeting minutes and as always
Honorable Connie Kitchens kept us humble with prayer. I want to send a special thanks
to Honorable Leon Jones for arranging the tables for our picnic and Honorable Harold Reece
for finding us a facility big enough to accommodate us and our vendors.
It took a lot of people to make our Fall Meeting a success but just being with the folks
that you have become to think of as family was a blessing in itself.
I just wish everyone could have tasted Gordy's BBQ. Don't worry,
I ate enough for those who couldn't make it.

Once again, thank you for allowing me the experience of serving as your President.
I look forward to all of the good things to come and seeing everyone at the Spring Meeting.
Vanita

From Vanita Hullander with reference
to the website

The website committee is still trying to build a memorial
page for the website. They need members to provide a list of
Coroners and Deputy Coroners that died while in office or Coroners
who received special recognition from their community or other
agencies.

Vanita Hullander has been elected Vice Chair of the
Georgia Fatality Review Panel. She would like to encourage
Coroners to participate on some of the committees and promote
an appreciation and understanding of the Coroners role in child
